Plastic materials and their treatment
Kopečný, Aleš ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This research the basic empirical knowledge about the processing of plastic materials. The following are analyzes of the nature of plastic materials and analysis of the use of these materials in the engineering industry. This paper deals with the technological methods of processing plastics. Specifically, it is done as a summary of information about the technologies needed for the production of molds for plastics. Key words
Solution technology of finish mold of plastic material in company VKV-Horák.
Harák, Petr ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The work deals with the technology of plastic injection mould in the com-pany VKV Horák. The work analysis the project, the process of production the mould and putting it in operation. The process of production is focused on ma-chining the sublayer of the mould. At the end, the sequence of operations of processing the plastic part on injecting machine using this mould is presented.
Design of technology for a mould manufacturing for casting in short run production
Pivoda, Miroslav ; Dvořáček, Jan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The aim of thesis is to describe the basic methods called Rapid Prototyping in theory and using one of them to create master model. Master model will be used to create silicone mould where a limited series of wax models will be by means of vacuum casting chamber. They will also be used to make ceramic form in which the final pad will be cast from freely accessible materials. After processing it the suitability of the proposed technologies for the production of the part in question will be assessed.
Possibilities of using modern methods in manufacturing of prototype castings
Maincl, David ; Němec, Jiří (referee) ; Horáček, Milan (advisor)
Rapid prototyping is a set of technologies , which is an essential part of modern foundry industry . It allows you to shorten the time between demand and fabrication of prototype parts. The aim of this work is to develop a literature search focused on the application of these technologies in the foundry manufacturing of prototype castings.
Design of manufacturing technology for plastic mount carbon
Fojtík, Jakub ; Mořkovský, Václav (referee) ; Kandus, Bohumil (advisor)
This master thesis deals with design of injection moulding technology for plastic holder of carbon brushes made of polycarbonate labelled Lexan 945A. The injection is performed into injection mould with hot runner system. Initially there is general study related to plastics and injection moulding technology. Further the study continues with injection moulds with hot runners and ends with computer analysis of injection moulding process. The designed injection mould for production of plastic holders is three-plate, double cavity mould with four hot nozzles and one parting plane, where one of the plates serves for mounting of the hot runner system inside the mould. This work contains part of the drawing documentation and item list of the injection mould. The selected injection moulding machine is Arburg Allrounder 370 U labelled 700-290 according to EUROMAP.
Microbial contamination of photographic materials
Ouředníčková, Veronika ; Dzik, Petr (referee) ; Veselá, Mária (advisor)
This diploma work is focused on a study of microbial contamination of photographic materials. In the first part of this work the information about the archive and museum microbial contaminations were collected. The most frequent contaminants of photographic collections – Penicillium chrysogenum and Aspergillus niger were studied. Their activity on photographic papers Fomaspeed and Fomabrom was evaluated. It was found that at the given experimental conditions the image layers of Fomaspeed paper are resistant to fungi mycelium growth. On the other hand, the Fomabrom paper image layer was irrecoverably damaged by action of fungi mentioned above. The degree image layer deterioration was evaluated with the aid of sensitometric curves.
Production of part Fixing washer
Para, Marcel ; Kandus, Bohumil (referee) ; Žák, Ladislav (advisor)
Order was given for the prodiction of 20 000 pieces of fixing washers. In this case was chosen injection moulding technology. Based on the research, a structural design of the mold was prepared together with the drawing documentation. From the range of materials, it was chosen polypropilene MOSTEN GB218, which is suitable for the given produstion. The simulation verified the reliability and quality of production. The parameters of injection moulding were determined by calculations, and the machine J180ADS – 180U was selected base of them. In the economic evaluation, the total costs for the production of the entire series were established on Nc=19626,43€.
Making sand moulds and cores for casting
Katrňák, Jiří ; Kaňa, Václav (referee) ; Pernica, Vítězslav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis describes various methods for the production of sand molds and cores in foundry and basic concepts associated with this issue. Due to the large number of production methods are described only basic and most widespread methods. The work includes the design and manufacture of cast-iron grate for the stove, made into a mixture of bentonite and self-hardening mixture AlpHasetTM.
Moulds and residential buildings
Dvořák, Tomáš ; Trachtová, Štěpánka (referee) ; Omelková, Jiřina (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis is aimed at moulds and residential buildings. At moulds occurrence and at conditions for their growth and reproduction. Thesis defined their distribution, morphology, metabolism and type of reproduction. Describe most important genera of moulds, their identification and procedure during their elimination. Practical part is aimed at two methods of determination in two different types of residential building, in prefab house and in single family house. The object of practical part was to determinate the genus of occurring moulds
Possibilities of using modern methods in manufacturing of prototype castings
Vašek, Vojtěch ; Mikulka, Vít (referee) ; Horáček, Milan (advisor)
Rapid Prototyping technologies are an important part of the industry. They allow reducing the time between the demand and the crafted prototype component. The main aim of these theses is to create a literature survey, focused on the application of these technologies in the foundry industry in the production of prototype castings.
